{dahlia frocks and bib}

Some dear friends of ours just became parents of a beautifully named little girl.

In celebration of their awesomeness, and because little girls are just so much fun to dress up, I decided to make her some mini-frocks. Only trouble was that I couldn't seem to find a pattern tiny enough for the newborn that she is...so she'll have to grow into these.
I used the Vivienne Jumper pattern on Burda and decided to make them fully reversible.

And since I realized how frustrating it would be to get a gift that couldn't be used for a while yet, I found a pattern for a baby bib. That's got to be useful a little sooner.

The pattern for this can be found on Chickpea Sewing Studio and is easy as pie to make.

Considering how stylish little Dahlia's mother is, I hope these will meet her standards.
